Zak Hemraj is the Co-founder and CEO of Loopio, a Toronto-based software company that helps organizations streamline their process for answering RFPs, DDQs, and Security Questionnaires. Previously, he spent 8 years at Achievers, where he learned the fundamentals of software development and sales, helping the company reach millions of users.
In 2014, Zak co-founded Loopio with his closest friends, Matt York and Jafar Owainati, with the goal of building a big, enduring company. Since then, Loopio has grown to over 200 employees, serving more than 1,200 customers globally. In 2018, Loopio raised $9M in Series A funding from OpenView Venture Partners and a $200M strategic investment from Sumeru Equity Partners followed in 2021 to further accelerate growth.
Waterstone Human Capital recognized Zak as one of Canada’s Most Admired CEOs in 2021, Loopio ranked 28th in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50TM Awards and has been recognized as a Top Startup in Canada by LinkedIn for two consecutive years.
