Mohamed (Mo) Rajan is the Canadian Head of Portfolio Strategy and Relationship Management within Corporate Real Estate (CRE) at BMO Financial Group. In this capacity, Mo is responsible to oversee the development and alignment of the Canadian real estate strategy to Ambition 2025 and New Ways of Working. His mandate also includes understanding workspace business needs and forging a strong connection with every line of business.
Mo joined BMO from IBM in 2005 where he developed enterprise software, specifically the DB2 database engine. At BMO he held a number of roles spanning Technology, Personal Banking, Wealth Management, and Investment Banking. In 2016, Mo joined the Transformation Office, where he led the delivery of over a dozen iterative pilots which formed the testbed and the foundation of BMO’s Workplace Experience program. Prior to joining CRE, Mo was the Managing Director and Head of Workplace Experience.
Mo holds a Biomedical Engineering degree, a computer science degree, and a Master’s Certificate in project management. He serves the community through several volunteer leadership posts. When he is not working, you can find him on the ski hill, mountain biking remote trails, or coaching his daughter’s sporting events.
