Andrea is a proven leader with over 20 years’ experience at BMO Financial Group, in roles spanning Private Wealth, InvestorLine and Corporate areas. She has a track record of delivering results in strategy implementation, operational leadership, and sales environments.
In November 2021, Andrea was named Head of Digital Investing, leading BMO’s online brokerage businesses (InvestorLine, adviceDirect and Smartfolio). For the previous two years, she led the digital investing Sales & Service organization, transforming the client contact center and transitioning to a completely virtual, cross-country model. She successfully navigated her team through unprecedented trading volumes and new account demand in 2021 and is now driving the growth strategy for BMO’s digital investing offering.
Andrea is a champion for leadership development, as well as diversity, equity, and inclusion, and she is an active career mentor. She is also a passionate advocate for supporting women and their finances.
Andrea holds a BA from the University of Waterloo, MSc from the University of Sheffield (UK) and EMBA from the Ivey School of Business. On the personal front, she is a hockey mom to an 12-year-old son, an avid indoor cyclist (and fair-weather outdoor cyclist) and loves to cook.
