Alisha Golden is a catalyst for entrepreneurial transcendence, bridging start-ups and investments across the global diaspora for collaboration and opportunity. Alisha believes that connecting a larger network of underrepresented and underserved entrepreneurs around the world can unlock potential and new power through an emerging wave of leaders.

While Alisha has worked across North America, Europe, and Africa, her current role on the investment team at Techstars Toronto culminates her decade-long experience of scaling early-stage start-ups. She understands innovation and entrepreneurship from a variety of cultural lenses and leverages that to drive key partnership adoption, customer acquisition, growth, and media interest. Her background in the tech startup ecosystem, innovation, social impact, and international consulting space has been a key asset in grounding her inclusion philosophy in business results.

Alisha has worked with leading firms such as Pivotal Ventures, The World Economic Forum, Verizon Media, NASA, Second Muse, NBCUniversal, KIND, The Pollination Project, Mashable, The UN Foundation, ChooseATL, and Airbnb. Additionally, Alisha’s work and that of her clients have been featured in outlets such as Fast Company, INC, Wired, Forbes, Origin Magazine, Entrepreneur, ABC News, The Huffington Post, Techcrunch, Conscious Magazine etc.

Furthermore, Alisha is the founder of Plan A, a non-profit organization geared toward catalyzing more African women and those of the diaspora into Profit Parity and VC funding inclusion while helping them launch and scale innovative technology solutions.
