Paul Burns is the managing director of Twitter Canada. Based in Toronto, Paul is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the platform in Canada, working with top brand, agency and media partners to deliver premium content and advertising solution Prior to joining Twitter, Paul spent over a decade in the Canadian media and tech industries, including senior roles at Shaw Communications and Canwest Global Communications. Paul was also Canada’s first managing director for Huge, a full service digital agency headquartered in Brooklyn. Paul currently serves on the board of Matthew House (a non profit home for refugees) and has also served as a board member for both the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB Canada) as well as the Banff World Media Festival.
