nina jane drystek is a Poet, Writer and Performer, and Arts Organizer based in Ottawa, unceded Algonquin Anishinaabe territory. She is the author of knewro suite (Simulacrum Press, 2019) and was shortlisted for the 2020 Bronwen Wallace Poetry Prize. Her poems have appeared in numerous journals, as well as in chapbooks and broadsides, and her original sound poem recordings are available on bandcamp. She is the co-founder of Riverbed Reading Series, writes collaborative poetry as a member of VII, and performs sound poetry with the ensemble quatuour gualuour. In her day-to-day life she is a Writer, Strategist and Project Manager at Spruce Creative, a marketing and design agency.
