Kaz Nejatian

Kaz Nejatian is the Vice President and General Manager of Shopify’s Financial Solutions Team where he is responsible for the company’s payments, tax, fraud, billing and merchant financial solutions products.  Prior to Shopify, Kaz was the Product Lead for Payments and Billing at Facebook.  Kaz is the former CEO of Kash, a payment technology company that he founded and which was acquired by a large financial services company in 2017. 

Prior to his career in technology, Kaz was a lawyer practising with a multi-national law firm based out of New York. He is a graduate of Queen’s University’s School of Business and the University of Toronto Faculty of Law.
