Devery Jacobs is an award-winning Indigenous actor and filmmaker. She was born and raised on the Mohawk reservation, Kahnawà:ke (Gun-nuh-WAH-gé), which shaped her passion for Indigenous rights activism and politically charged roles and projects. 

Devery is mainly known for her performances as Aila in Rhymes for Young Ghouls, Sam Black Crow in Neil Gaiman’s American Gods and as Lilith Bathory in the Netflix Original The Order.

Devery was named one of Canada’s Rising Breakout Stars by the Hollywood Reporter and was named a TIFF Rising Star at the Toronto International Film Festival. Devery has also garnered multiple awards for her works as a writer and director.
