Dervla Kelly is Senior Vice President of Marketing for Corus and General Manager of so.da, Corus’ social digital agency.  As Canada’s largest pure play media & content company, Corus’ portfolio includes Global Television, 45 Specialty brands, 39 radio stations, Nelvana – an animation studio, as well as an international content distribution business.

In her role, Dervla overviews Creative, Marketing Strategy, Publicity, Social, Lifestyle Digital, Trade Marketing, Viewer Relations and Events for the company and its media portfolio. She also leads so.da, which is a full-service, specialized social digital agency offering strategy, community management, content production, analytics and social listening, talent and influencer integration, working with many of Canada’s leading brands to support their social strategy and content production. The agency’s deep understanding of the social space and data-driven approach has led to above average engagement rates, watch times and lower CPEs. Last year alone, so.da content was viewed over seven billion times.

Prior to joining Corus, Dervla was Vice President of Marketing Communications for Shaw Media, and prior to this, was Vice President of Communications for Canwest Global. Before her career in media, Dervla oversaw Global Marketing Communications for two leading international companies headquartered in Canada – Celestica, as well as Husky Injection Molding Systems. Dervla is currently a board member of Children’s Wish and as Vice Chair of Women in Communications & Technology, led the development of The Protégé Project, a program aimed at increasing the number of women in the C-Suite in Canada.
