Dr. Dambisa Moyo bears many titles, including: economist, best-selling author, and company director – who TIME Magazine named one of the ‘100 Most Influential People in the World’ in 2009. A respected board director, she has chaired numerous corporate board risk and audit committees and currently serves on the boards of Chevron and 3M; she is also a member of the Bretton Woods committee. Dr. Moyo’s previous experience at Goldman Sachs and the World Bank allowed her to develop a wealth of financial insight to influence corporate strategy. She has written four New York Times bestselling books, most recently Edge of Chaos: Why Democracy is Failing to Deliver Economic Growth – and How to Fix It (2018). Dr. Moyo holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, an MBA, an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School and a PhD in economics from the University of Oxford.
