CG Chen

Founder

My name is CG Chen, and I am the founder of Ample Labs. I founded Ample in 2018 with a group of friends from the tech community in Toronto because we didn’t see our sector doing much for those that were experiencing homelessness or living on the margins within our city. Ample Labs is a tech nonprofit committed to using technology to empower individuals facing homelessness. Before Ample, I worked at various tech companies as a user experience designer including ecobee where I was designing experiences for IoT devices, and Tulip where I designed enterprise software for luxury retailers like Chanel, Kate Space, Michael Kors, and Frank & Oak. I am a community builder, I care about co-design, diversity, building and promoting inclusivity and accessibility across the tech sector.
