SickKids Foundation
As Vice President, Corporate Partnerships, Adam Starkman leads a highly collaborative team whose mission is to raise funds for child health by establishing and enhancing integrated partnerships between SickKids Foundation and its corporate partners. Through this work, SickKids Foundation is able to provide measurable value to its partners, and demonstrate the impact of their engagement on The Hospital for Sick Children.
Adam has spent his career in the charitable sector. In his more than 12 years at SickKids Foundation, he has held progressively senior roles on both the Corporate Partnerships and Major Gifts teams. He has developed and led multi-million dollar fundraising campaigns, and worked with some of Toronto’s leading philanthropists and Canada’s most successful companies to achieve their philanthropic goals.
While at SickKids Adam achieved a masters degree in Strategic Foresight and Innovation from OCAD University. As a result he has developed expertise in using human centred design and service design methodologies to create an optimal experience for donors and partners.
