The barriers between home and work have been demolished by the remote world. While seeing co-workers’ pets, families and houseplants may seem like a great equalizer, stripping back the veils of hierarchy and power distance isn’t without its challenges. As we welcome our colleagues into our homes, we widen the lens through which systemic inequality can be seen and perpetuated and introduce new challenges to fostering inclusion.
